Name: Maggie (Margaret) Wakefield
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Type: Pixie
Elective(s): Introduction to Magic, Introduction to Martial Arts, German
Ethnicity: British
Description: Perfectly proportioned adolescent female with the disturbing tendency to go about unclothed. 3" tall, with a purplish cast to her skin, vivid violet eyes, and a thick shock of chin-length purple hair. Has delicate, translucent pinkish wings growing out of her shoulders.
Personality: Friendly, out-spoken, and very flirtatious. Typically cheerful, though she does go through periodic bouts of black depression that can last for weeks.
History: Maggie was the oldest child born to Colleen and Ronald Wakefield in Devonshire, England. She comes from a close-knit pixie community living in an old bird's nest on the outskirts of town. She had a happy childhood, surrounded by many friends and relatives.
One night when she was still young, Maggie stopped to play tag with some fireflies on her way home from an errand. She accidentally got scooped up in a glass jar by a human child out trying to catch fireflies. When she woke up the next day, she was far, far away from her home with no idea how to get back. The child thought Maggie was the funniest looking firefly he'd ever seen; his mother knew her for what she was. Seeing that she had no other choice, the mom took Maggie in as her youngest – and smallest – child, and raised Maggie right along with her own son James.
Maggie grew to love James and his mother Janet as a second family but still she pined for her beloved bird's nest. On the eve of her fifteenth birthday, Maggie made the difficult decision to leave the only family she'd known for the last 9 years and search for the home she remembers from her childhood. Unfortunately, 2 days' flight out from Janet's place, she flew right into the middle of a terrible thunderstorm...
Powers: A playful sense of humor that frequently gets her in trouble - *lots* of trouble. She flies from place to place, since walking any distance greater than a foot would take more than 10 minutes.
Inventory: A bracelet that looks like it was made out of a scrap of tan leather thong, with an itty bitty apple blossom that rests on top of her right wrist. A matching choker with a delicately preserved rose bud that rests in the hollow of her throat.
Other: Maggie has very few formal learning abilities. She loves to tell and listen to stories but does not know how to read/write or do arithmetic well at all.
