Prince kept up his charming smile as he slowly walked Roisin around the campus, pointing out some of the things his Father had talked about, and he actually recognized.
“And this, is the Fountain. Oh goodie, someone's already in trouble.”
He pointed to the poor soul who had temporarily been turned into a piece of statuary for the Fountain.
“Don't have to worry though. The Fountain is reserved for those who anger the Headmistress, or those who simply can't learn the rules. And it's only for a few days. I think.”

Roisin nodded and reacted according to the information that was being given her. Prine seemed to know a great deal about the school, and she was on the verge of asking just how long he'd been here when they stopped to observe a large fountain. It seemed fairly typical, she thought, until her attention was directed towards the uppermost part where one boy stood frozen still. Her expression turned to one of mortification. "She fixes you up there, does she?" An aghast Roisin asked, "And makes you stay there no matter what? How dreadful!"
She immediately made a mental note to never d anything that would cause her to be one of those unfortunate victims. Punishment was hard enough, public punishment was the worst.
Suddenly curious again she asked, "Prince, how long have been living here?"

Prince made a big show of looking at his watch.
"Oh, I'd say... all of 3 hours now."
At her incredulous look, he chuckled.
"Dad went here when he was a kid. He's told me about the school for years now. I could barely wait to get my acceptance notification. Of course, considering Dad, it would be almost impossible not to get into the school."
At that moment, a small insect flew by his nose, causing him to sneeze again. His hair and eyes turned a brilliant shade of fire red. The tips and the out ring of his pupils turning an interesting shade of neon green.
He rushed over to look at his reflection in the fountain.
"I could like this one."

Well, that made sense, Roisin supposed. And certainly, if she had known anything about such schools, waiting to attend one, for herself, would have been absolutely unbearable.
Roisin stared at him as an instantaneous change took place. Changing colors didn't strike her as too odd, but the frequency of it did. "If you don't mind my asking," she said somewhat shyly, "Does this happen often?"

Prince sighed, as he gestured toward a nearby bench they could sit on.
"Luckily, it only happens when I sneeze. When it first started, Father thought it was a fitting punishment, so he's been rather lax in finding a way to fix it. Honestly, other than some horribly clashing colors and designs, I rather enjoy it. Keeps things unique."

Roisin followed suit, perching lightly on the bench, and appreciating that it was not cold. A fitting punishment? Well that in itself was amusing. She nodded as he spoke, "I can understand that, I suppose- meaning the uniqueness, you know." And then she asked, conversationally, "What combination is your favorite?"

Prince had to think that one over. There had certainly been quite a few interesting combinations over the last couple of weeks.
"I would definitely have to say the the one from last Thursday. The way the gold reflected in the mirror was marvelous. Such a shame that that was the same week the flowers outside started to bloom. It turned into a very... interesting couple of days."

Roisin laughed heartily at that; the more she thought of it, the more Prince reminded her of Adrian. Adrian, perhaps, was not so openly enthralled with himself, but his thought process certainly had been similar. "Not such a great set of circumstances to be having many allergies in, I would think," She giggled. Suddenly her stomach rumbled, not so loudly that it was easily heard, but enough that it was uncomfortable. "If ye be not minding," she added, slightly apologetically, "Would be well if we next toured the dining hall?"

"Of course, how inconsiderate of me. Being in your lovely pressence, I lost track of the time."
He stood up, and offered her his arm again.
"We're not far, and Father spoke highly of the food there. I believe his exact words were 'It's not a Gourmet Meal, but I'll be Damned if you ever left that place hungry.'"

Roisin was glad to hear this and her stomach agreed with this sentiment as she stood and once again took Prince's arm. "It's hardly your fault," she said, metaphorically waving away his apology, "There be little sense in going to a dining hall without having any need to eat, is there?"
